Zinc Oxide USP is a white powder commonly found in many baby powders, diaper rash creams, lotions and cosmetics. Used medicinally as an astringent, antiseptic and protectant that helps to relieve chapped or red skin. Zinc Oxide is also used, in combination with other ingredients, as a base for mineral makeup applications.
