This fruit infusion is bursting with bright bold, blood orange flavor. Sweet orange comes to the fore with a subtle tangy astringency and lingering tropical citrus finish. When brewed the herbal tea reveals a cup color this is reminiscent of the crimson inside of a fresh blood orange.
Compared to our other orange inspired teas, the blood orange flavor has a floral or tart taste with hints of raspberry, cranberry, or strawberry - perfect for blending with hibiscus and rosehip to enhance the tart character while adding depth of color to the tea. Apples create a smooth and delicate base that allows the orange notes to truly pop. And most importantly, the orange pieces add refreshing zesty undertones and bright citrus essence.
Fresh and fruity, this herbal tea is naturally caffeine free and rich in antioxidants. Itâs nice and sweet on its own, but a dash of sugar or some agave would enhance the fruit flavors.
