INFORMATION:
'I could have had class. I could have been a contender. I could have been somebody'. Perhaps Terry Malloy, lead character in 1954's On the Waterfront, the blockbuster story of crime and corruption on Manhattan's waterfront, should have boosted his disposition with a cup of this fabulous herbal tea. The same holds true for Marlon Brando who played the character. Hollywood legend has it that on the day Brando first watched the film in its entirety, he walked out 10 minutes before it ended, saying he was so depressed by his performance that he couldn't watch anymore. So why would a cup of this tea have raised the spirits of all those involved? Well, there are a few reasons. Peppermint gives the blend a spicy fresh profile, and it has long been associated with relaxation. Rose petals weave a delectable floral character through the cup. Since time immemorial Roses have been given as pick-me-up gifts - we figure including them in an herbal tea ought to have the same affect. Ginger's heat adds a layer of vitality to the blend that is sure to get the taste buds reeling and synapses firing with positive energy. Osmanthus is a flower known for its pleasant aroma and inspiring flavor. Rounding out the blend is the mellow herbal character of South African Rooibos, packed with Iron, Zinc and more. So you can see, if you're feeling in any way like life is passing you by, a nice hot cup of On the Waterfront ought to help turn the tide in your favor.
